Dress: Princess Polly ... Belt: thrifted ... Stockings: Sportsgirl ...
Shooties: Therapy ... Satchel: Forever New
I'm back from Fiji and finally blogging again. I hope you can't tell that I'm several shades darker from the following photos. Basically, another day means another outfit. Today's focus is going to be on a pair of grapevine embroidered stockings from Sportsgirl which I thought would be mega fun to experiment with today.
I decided to keep the colour palette fairly neutral: black, white and a hint of soft pink to really make the pattern stand out. I'm wearing a white lace dress nipped in at the waist with a pinstripe black belt and also my versatile black shooties... really simple from the front, until I turn around to reveal the intricate embroidery. I freaked a couple of people out, my friends and some randoms on the street thought it was henna and my mum spazzed because she thought it was a tattoo. Took them a while to realise that it was just stockings...
OH!!!
