I look aimlessly out towards the ocean taking in the beautiful sights which linger outside. As gentle rays of sunlight cast its golden rays into my shrouded room, it feels almost mandatory to take this perfectly peaceful moment to pen my thoughts.

But when I sat down to write this, to which I was hoping to share something that might appear profound in nature, I thought to myself: do these people even know who I am? Like the quiet, shy and too often awkward plus one at a party, I myself, in this situation, am the unfamiliar, unorthodox face in the crowd.

With that, you are probably wondering “who this hooligan?” So, to shed some much-needed light on such questions, here I am – in all my nerdy glory.

I’ve never been good with introductions; I tend to ramble and stutter through the most awkward of small talk. But to overcome this insecurity, for your sake and mine, lets just say that we have already met and that this isn’t uncomfortable. *nervous laughter*

So ... my name is Marvic – as you might already know. I have black hair, skinny legs, caterpillars for eyebrows and a weirdly dorky/sassy personality. I am basically an older version of Sharon but without the element of cool. I’m 19 years old – as of about a week ago – and reside in the beautiful Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. So yeah, you get the picture.

As for the photos, I don’t feel it is all that relevant to this convoluted babble. But I hope it does let you glimpse into my shockingly weird, self-proclaimed nerdy and odd personality.
