Henry Holland and Sportsgirl ... definitely a collaboration to get excited about. So when a little birdie told me that this iconic English designer was making a live appearance in Sportsgirl for a 'chat', I just knew this was an unmissable opportunity. The final toss up was 'Should I study for my economics test?' or 'Should I go see the amazing Mr Holland who I probably will never see again?' ... you know the answer.

Indeed, on Thursday afternoon, he was there in the flesh talking about the newest collaboration. In his words (not mine), it was inspired by 'old grannies'. With colourful 'patchwork quilt' prints, flattering peplums and colour blocked shirts, it certainly was not the drab kind. Of course, there had to be a slogan tee in the collection somewhere since his label House of Holland gained so much attention with his bold catchphrase T-shirts. This particular one was printed with 'Sew into you' ... pun intended.
His favourite piece? The Jersey maxi dress (shop HERE). My favourite? The Print Pullover.

Irrelevant to the collection, here are some things you probably didn't know about Henry Holland. He was childhood friends with Agyness Deyn and now often works with her. He shared an apartment for one day with Alexa Chung but she then decided the apartment was too small.

Lastly, he's yet to find a word that rhymes with 'Holland', so if you have any answers, please leave it in the comments!
