Shooting with a photographer almost always guarantees amazing images. There is a certain level of creativity in the lighting, angles and lines that I can't evoke in my day to day outfit pictures. Prior to the shoot, my photographer Duey Lam went location scouting around Sydney and picked out this little nook in Circular Quay with three distinct images in mind; the reflection, the lamps and the copper warehouse door.

Here I've styled my very first night outfit to compliment Lam's night vision. Dressed head to toe in Aussie labels, this outfit is a celebration of the craftsmanship and individuality of some of my favourite local designers, Alice McCall and Adrian Norris and Edwina Robinson from Aje. Both have their distinct design aesthetics; the former with a girlish folk charm and the latter defining itself with 'effortless glamour'. Aje is my go to label for embellished dresses and separates where this black crop is no exception to their rule of quality and luxurious fabrications. Paired with this metallic gold fluted skirt from Alice McCall, these two pieces tied in perfectly for the glam look I was going for.
